The primary goal of Transformation (Er)leben und (Er)lernen (TREE) is to foster and enhance transformative approaches in teaching, research, and practice at the University of Hohenheim. Our main focus is to establish a community of practice for transformative teaching and multiplication of transformational knowledge on campus. We are enthusiastic about collaborating with numerous individuals in the project's activities and welcome those who wish to contribute and shape them.
The project goals:
- Establish a network of stakeholders interested in transformative teaching in Hohenheim.
- Build skills in transformative teaching methods.
- Research and document the applied methods and approaches.
- Action and learning across status groups!
Throughout the two years we will offer method trainings for lecturers, staff and students.
The project includes two new modules: one in the summer semester “Exploring Regional Transformations through Utopias” and a second one in the winter semester "Enacting Local Transformation in the Agri-Food System."
