Bio

Anna Struth is a Research Associate at the Institute of Social Sciences in Agriculture, Dep. Sustainable Use of Natural Resources as well as at the Dep. Societal Transition and Agriculture, University of Hohenheim. She holds a B.A. in Photography with Creative Writing and a B.Sc. in Natural Resource Science with specialization in Organic Farming and Horticulture. She is enrolled in the M.Sc. Organic Agriculture and Food Systems and is currently writing her master thesis about the potential of higher education institution (HEI) for the transformation of the food system. Anna is part of the EU Horizon project ‘FOSTER’, which investigates community-driven initiatives and their impact on the food system. Within the project she focuses on the inclusion of youth, underrepresented groups, and women. She is engaged as spokesperson and trainer at netzwerk n. e.V. and is leading the working group sustainability (AKN) in Hohenheim. Anna is also a freelance facilitator and trainer.
