Haani is a PhD researcher in the Agroecology4Climate project at the Department of Sustainable Use of Natural Resources, Institute of Social Sciences in Agriculture, where he focuses on agroecological transitions for climate resilience in Kerala, India. He holds a Bachelor of Technology in Biotechnology and a Master's in Climate Change and Sustainability Studies. His expertise centers on climate change vulnerability, adaptation, and resilience for marginalized communities, ecosystem-based adaptation, and ecosystem service valuation. Haani's professional journey spans three years in the development sector, contributing to projects on ecosystem restoration, natural resource management, water governance, rural livelihood enhancement, human-wildlife conflict, and ecosystem service assessment. He has worked across various regions in India, including Kerala, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, the Indian Himalayan region, and Telangana. |
