Bio

Dr. Arezou Babajani is a researcher on the FOSTER project at the Institute of Social Sciences in Agriculture, Department of Sustainable Use of Natural Resources, University of Hohenheim. She completed her Ph.D. in Agricultural Development, focusing her dissertation on creating a model to support organic farming in Iran.

 Her research interests include promoting sustainable food and agricultural systems. She employs both qualitative and quantitative research methods and incorporates approaches such as Futures Studies and scenario planning to explore pathways toward sustainability in various contexts.

Through her work, she aims to contribute to the development of practical strategies that address the challenges facing sustainable agriculture and help build more resilient and equitable food systems.
