Bio

Mushroom cultivation – sustainability – agricultural innovation. Federico is a master's student in Agricultural Science at the University of Hohenheim. With a strong interest in sustainable food systems, he combines academic research with practical experience as a mushroom grower in a Stuttgart-based vertical city farm.   

His diverse interests comprehend sustainable agriculture, agroecology, mycology and innovative approaches to mushroom farming. Federico is particularly passionate about fostering knowledge exchange to advance sustainable agricultural practices and explore the role of fungi in addressing global challenges in food systems and resource management.
