Lena is a Master student at the University of Hohenheim studying Organic Agriculture and Food Systems. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Geoecology at the University of Tübingen, where she wrote her thesis about the mapping of soil degradation in Namibia via Remote Sensing. Building on to this, she is now working on her Master thesis which is part of the Bright Spots of Sustainable Agriculture project. Her thesis focuses on identifying and mapping "bright spots" of sustainable agricultural practices in India. Through her research, she explores the effectiveness of bottom-up approaches compared to top-down methods and results in identifying these promising areas.
