Bio

Dr. Sara Heshmati is an agronomist specializing in precision farming and sustainable agriculture. Her recent research focuses on harnessing advanced technologies such as crop modeling, remote sensing, and online/offline sensors to make agricultural practice more sustainable and efficient. This work has contributed to the development of data-driven solutions for empowering farmers to make informed decisions that enhance productivity while minimizing environmental pollution. Throughout her career, she worked and collaborated with various universities and research institutes in Germany, Namibia, and Iran.
