Bio

Kaya is a master's student in environmental science at the University of Hohenheim and the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences. After graduation, she gained work experience in environmental research in Canada, environmental planning, and development work. During her studies, she formed her research interests from an interdisciplinary perspective within the human and natural disciplines of environmental science. Her research interests include climate change adaptation, biodiversity conservation, and ensuring food security. She will write her master's thesis as part of the Bright Spots of Sustainable Agriculture project.
