Fieldwork Update from Kerala, India & Brandenburg, Germany [19.04.25]
Haani T and Julia Fritzsche, PhD researchers in the Agroecology4Climate project at the Department of Sustainable Use of Natural Resources, Institute of Social Sciences in Agriculture, have officially begun their fieldwork in Kerala and Brandenburg!
Their research focuses on agroecological transitions for climate resilience — exploring how farming communities adapt and transform in the face of environmental challenges.
Over the past weeks, they conducted pilot visits and key informant interviews with local actors. In the coming weeks, they will begin rolling out surveys and interviews to deepen insights into agroecological practices and their role in building resilient food systems.
