From Desks to Running Shoes: Our Department at the Hohenheim Relay Race 2026 [06.07.26]
Department members came together for an afternoon of friendly competition, team spirit and community at this year's Hohenheim Relay Race.
On 1 July, members of the Department of Sustainable Use of Natural Resources took part in the 31st Hohenheim Staffellauf (Relay Race), joining colleagues, students and staff from across the university for one of Hohenheim's long-standing annual traditions.
Swapping desks for running shoes, our department took on the 5 km relay course through the Botanical Garden and around Hohenheim Palace. Like many participants, our runners embraced the event as an opportunity to spend time together, enjoy some friendly competition and be part of the university community beyond everyday work.
The relay race offered a chance to step away from the usual routine, enjoy the summer evening and share plenty of laughs along the way.
A big thank you to everyone who took part and represented our department. We look forward to next year's relay race!
