Sustainable Monday: Community Building for a Culture of Sustainability  [17.12.24]

How can a campus become a vibrant space for everyone? How does a strong sense of community emerge—one that inspires sustainable action and brings people together?

We invite you to experience the transformative power of community building—an approach that puts participation at its center and demonstrates how a culture of sustainability can be lived at universities.

What to Expect:

  • Inspiration and Insights: You will get an introduction to the concept of community building and learn how it helps connect people and strengthen a culture of sustainability at universities.

  • Discover Best Practices: Learn about the KuNaH joint project—an inspiring example of how sustainability can be integrated into higher education through a Community of Practice. Representatives from the University of Tübingen will share their experiences. We will also take a brief look at T.R.E.E. and the Green Office at the University of Hohenheim.

  • Creative Exchange: Together, we will develop ideas, process the insights, and envision new ways forward for our university. In the interactive workshop session, you can network and share your perspectives.

Why Join?
This event aims to inspire, encourage, and motivate you. Our goal is for you to see the campus as your space and feel like an integral part of it. The more we see ourselves as part of a community, the stronger our commitment to actively shape it will become.
